Library Open
Our Library is open at 799 Adelaide Street by appointment. You are welcome to browse our many books of Theosophy, Philosophy, Science, Religion, Literature, Medicine and History. A student is available to help find references for you and to answer questions. Library is also available after Wednesday Night Meeting
Patanjali's Yoga Aphorisms
After the Wednesday Night Meeting ends at 8:45pm there is another class that is at the Lodge only. From 9 to 10 PM the study of Patanjali's gives students the opportunity to discuss the journey of the Soul.
"Ishwara, the spirit in man, is untouched by any troubles, works, fruits of works, or desires, and when a firm position is assumed with the end in view of reaching union with spirit through concentration, Ishwara, comes to the aid of the lower self and raises it gradually to the higher planes." Such concentration comes from acting for and as the Self of all that Lives.
